The complete collection, which includes the Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max, is the first in the world to operate on the new HyperOS 3 platform and be powered by the state-of-the-art Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU.
While all three models boast impressive specs like a Leica-tuned 50MP triple-camera system, a massive 7,500mAh battery (in the Pro Max), and 100W wired fast charging, the Pro and Pro Max models stand out with a truly unique feature: the Dynamic Back Display.
This secondary OLED screen, integrated into the rear camera module, functions as a live selfie viewfinder, notification center, and interactive widget hub, giving the phone a distinct and industry-leading design edge.
Features and color varients in newly launched Xiaomi 17 series
- The most innovative feature in Xiaomi’s flagship devices is the secondary rear display, called the ‘Dynamic Back Display.’ This display is available only on the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. The display fills the entirety of the camera module, which otherwise looks similar to the apple’s new iPhone 17 Pro models.
- Compared to the Mi 11, the display on the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max is significantly larger. The 17 Pro is a 2.7-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 3,500 nits. A slightly bigger 2.9-inch back screen is included with the 17 Pro Max.
- The basic 17 and the 17 Pro both include a 6.3-inch AMOLED LTPO screen that can refresh at rates between 1 and 120Hz.
- In order to enable consumers to transform their gadget into a portable console, Xiaomi is also offering a unique case with gaming controls on the rear. Perhaps giving off some Game Boy vibes.
- A 50-megapixel triple camera with the Leica logo is included with the standard vanilla colored Xiaomi 17.
- The huge 7,000mAh battery of the Xiaomi 17 supports 50W wireless charging and 100W wired fast charging. The 17 Pro Max has a massive 7,500mAh battery, whereas the 17 Pro has a little 6,300mAh one. The charging speeds of the Pro versions are same to those of the basic 17.

The series is expected to launch in India in early 2026, possibly around January or February.
